Metatarsalgia (Pain on the forefoot)

The term metatarsalgia refers to a series of pain syndromes corresponding to the plantar region of the foot. Clinically in these cases, hyperkeratosis formations or plantar callosities (callus) are appreciated at the metatarsal head(s).
